Lake Reflection Painting

Try your hand at acrylic painting.  The ladies from the 321 Art Studio will help you paint a lake reflection painting.  You will use an 11 x 14 stretched canvas and acrylic paint.  No experience necessary – all skill levels.


Real Estate Seminar

What is the best time to sell, buy a house?  What is the appraisal process? What are buyers looking for?  These and many other questions will be answered by Nicole Culbert-Dahl of Culbert Realty.  Bring your questions and let the selling/buying begin!

Community Recipe Exchange Night

Have a great recipe that you would like to share? Looking for new and tried recipes? This class is for you! Each participant is asked to bring a recipe to exchange and a prepared sample of the recipe to share. We will all have a chance to share cooking and baking ideas while tasting samples of the recipes. A booklet of all recipes will be given.

Each Session includes 4 classes. Join in this vinyasa flow yoga class moving to your own ability.  Improve flexibility and strength. Reduce stress. Breathe and find calm. Open to all levels. Bring your own mat and props such as blocks, straps, and bolsters. Wear clothing you can move freely in. Please pay the first night of class to the instructor. Morning Lap Swim

Adult Lap Swim for ages 12 and up.  There will be at least one certified lifeguard on duty.

Eveleth Pool – Enter through Door #4 on West side of Eveleth-Gilbert High School.

Masters’ Swim Workouts

This course offers a group workout for all advanced swimmers. The Nort’landers Swim Club organizes this class. Cost is $30.


Estate & Nursing Home Planning

Self-Defense for Women

Minnesota Wild Trip

Saturday,  April 8, 2023       2:00pm Game       $150

Travel to St. Paul by deluxe motor-coach bus to watch the Minnesota Wild play the St. Louis Blues. No need to worry about the weather, traffic or paying for parking! The cost of this day trip includes round trip bus fare, and game ticket.  We will make a short stop at Tobies in Hinckley on the way down and on the way back. This trip is limited to 25 people, so sign up fast! There are no refunds for cancellation unless seat(s) can be sold to another party. You will be refunded if trip gets cancelled! Ravioli Fun

Learn to make Ravioli with Claudia!  At this fun cooking class you will make the 2 containers of raviolis- meat and cheese-to go home with!  We will also have tasters of each at the end of class! Class is held at Messiah Lutheran Church, 8590 Enterprise Dr., Mt. Iron.

Anna will teach the basics of First Aid and Safety for latch key children. This is a great class for children so that know what to do and how to handle situations that may arise. Snack & materials included. Flyers will be sent home. Class size limited to 20 students.


Babysitters’ Training Ages 11-15

March 27-29       3:00-5:30pm       North Star       $56

For boys and girls who want to be responsible babysitters. Each participant receives the Babysitters’ Handbook and other useful handouts. Students are eligible to receive a certificate if they are age 11 or older.  Bring a snack for after school. Class size limited to the first 12 paid participants. Flyers will be sent home. It’s our last class for this school year! We’ll make fun crafts with a summer theme, play games, and of course, have a special treat to celebrate another great year! Seashells, mermaids, the beach and all things to celebrate summer will be the theme for our crafts. Sign up to craft one more time before your summer vacation starts!


Firearms Safety Class

Students must be a minimum of 11 years of age on first night of class. There is no charge for the class, but the state DNR charges graduates for their certificate after completion. (7.50) Students will be taught safe firearms handling, game identification, survival skills and ethics. Students will meet our local conservation officer and other experts in related fields.
