Food Services

INAC, Inc. is a local company that provides nutritious school breakfast and lunch to area students daily. Some of our signature items include an “Old World Tuscany” stir fry station, deli sandwiches, wraps and salads.

We promote marketing and merchandising of a wide variety of colorful fruits and vegetables to capture the student’s attention.

For more information about our program please contact, Amy Turner, Food Service Director at (218) 749-5437 ext. 1800.

2021-2022 FREE Breakfasts & FREE Lunches

The United States Department of Agriculture is allowing schools to provide meals for the 2021-22 school year through a provision of the National School Lunch Program called the Seamless Summer Option (SSO). A waiver has been issued in order to support access to nutritious meals while minimizing potential exposure to COVD-19.

Our school has chosen to use this waiver and operate the SSO which enables us to provide meals free of charge for all students. No application is required to receive this free meal benefit.

However, your child(ren) may qualify additional benefits such as reduced fees or the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) which is a federal temporary emergency nutrition benefit that is loaded onto electronic cards for families to purchase food. At public schools, your application also helps the school qualify for education funds and discounts.

Please fill out and return the “Application for Educational Benefits” to your local campus as soon as you are able.

The Seamless Summer Option Food Service Option will cover one FREE breakfast, and one FREE lunch for each student each day.  This does NOT cover “non-reimbursable meals” such as:

  • Milk taken independently from a meal (such as snack time).
  • Any extra milk taken in addition to the milk that is included with the meal (a 2nd milk with the meal) will be charged at full price.
  • Any milk taken without the rest of the meal will be charged. A milk taken without any food items does not meet federal requirements to be considered a meal and therefore is not reimbursable.
  • Any 2nd lunches or breakfast will be charged at the full price rate of a 2nd meal:
    • Elementary Breakfast $2.00. Elementary Lunch $2.70
    • Secondary Breakfast $2.15. Secondary Lunch $2.80
  • Any additional Ala Carte items will be charged at the regular full price rates (cookies, chips, etc.)
