Dear Rock Ridge Staff & Families,
Straight-to-the-point: The Governor has issued additional information regarding COVID-19 and schools in the State of Minnesota. The new information, beginning January 18, allows elementary schools across the state to choose to operate in-person as long as they are able to implement all updated health and safety measures. There are a number of new rules and stipulations, if schools open their elementary schools on January 18. We are trying to ascertain exactly how these rules impact the Rock Ridge Schools. Consequently, we will make a decision as to what will happen in the Rock Ridge School District–with both elementary and high schools–on Thursday, January 7. You will receive another letter on this date, explaining exactly what is going to happen. Until then, everything continues as it is now.
