ECFE / School Readiness

WELCOME to Rock Ridge Early Childhood Programs.  We offer a variety of classes at Parkview Elementary (Virginia) and at Laurentian Elementary (Eveleth) that lay a healthy foundation for lifelong learning for children while supporting parents and caregivers.

Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is a program that offers classes, events, playtimes, and other opportunities designed to give families ideas and skills to support their child’s growth and development from birth to kindergarten.

The Three-Year-Old School Readiness program is a fun and lighthearted introduction to the school setting.  There will be hands-on learning activities that are developmentally appropriate for three-year-old children.  All learning is play based and presented in an engaging way.  This class will help children build self-confidence and develop social skills independently of parents.

The School Readiness Fours and Fives children will participate in hands-on-learning that is educational and fun in a stimulating classroom that encourages learning through discovery and play.
