COMMUNICATION RESOURCES

  • FAMILY COMMUNICATION

We use PowerSchool as our school communication system. It allows us to send phone calls and emails to Rock Ridge families. The system uses contact information that you enter into PowerSchool. We use PowerSchool to communicate emergency information quickly as well as important information and alerts. Schools and programs also use this system to send important information and reminders. Therefore, it is important that you keep your contact information up to date so that you receive all of the alerts and notices from your child’s school and from the District. Please contact your child’s school for assistance in setting up your PowerSchool account or other PowerSchool questions.

  • BACK-TO-SCHOOL FLYER

Each August before the new school year begins, a district-wide flyer is mailed out to all Rock Ridge families. It contains principal welcome letters, fun write-ups about new staff, staff lists, early childhood information, school calendar, food service information, athletic and activities information, important telephone numbers, and more. This is a great resource to keep on hand and use throughout the school year!

  • DISTRICT NEWSLETTER

The Rock Ridge Reporter is RRPS’ monthly newsletter geared towards Rock Ridge families as well as our community members. It highlights each of our five schools throughout Eveleth and Virginia. It includes photos and articles from various classrooms and grade levels regarding educational activities, school-spirited fun, student achievements, and more. The Rock Ridge Reporter is emailed to all families, students, staff, and community members on the first Friday of every month during the school year.

Please email [email protected] if you would like to be added to the mailing list to receive this newsletter in your inbox!
